2007-08 IRNE Award Nominations Announced

BOSTON - The New Repertory Theatre's production of the musical The Wild Party by Andrew Lippa, in which Brian De Lorenzo played the role of "Phil D'Armano," has been nominated for multiple "IRNE" Awards, including "Best Ensemble" and "Best Musical." The production also received nominations in the categories of Supporting Actress in a Musical, Supporting Actor in a Musical, Lighting Design, Costume Design, Choreography, Music Director, & Director. The Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Awards for 2007 will take place on Monday April 14, 2008, at the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA) in the Cyclorama. Founded by Beverly Creasey of the Journal Newspapers and Larry Stark of TheaterMirror in 1997, the IRNE Awards recognize the extraordinary wealth of talent in the Boston theatre community. The IRNE Awards event is free to the public. No tickets are needed for admission. Doors open at 7 PM. Awards start at 8 PM. Cash bar with appetizers.
